Description

The Inoa is a 159cm floor lamp with five spherical glass shades mounted on short brass arms extending from a matt black vertical stem. Three of the globes are amber-toned glass, two are smoked grey, and each globe houses a G9 halogen bulb. The brass joints where the arms meet the stem are satin-finished, contrasting with the matt black frame.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas and hallway corners where both height and ambient light are wanted, the Inoa provides multi-point lighting from a single footprint. The 34cm diameter circular base gives stability without taking up the floor area a traditional shade-and-bulb floor lamp would require. The five bulbs are positioned at different heights on the stem, creating layered pools of light rather than a single concentrated source.

The amber and smoked glass diffuses the light from each G9 bulb, softening the output and casting a warm glow into the surrounding space. The combination of black, brass and tinted glass suits mid-century, industrial and contemporary interiors where metal and glass are already part of the material palette. At 6.7kg the lamp is substantial enough to remain stable on rugs and carpets without needing floor fixings.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Inoa comes with five G9 halogen bulbs fitted. These are 10W capsule bulbs rated for 220-240V mains. Replacement G9 bulbs are available separately if needed.

Is the lamp dimmable?

G9 halogen bulbs can be dimmed using a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Check with the electrician fitting the dimmer that it supports the total load of 50W across five bulbs.

What ceiling height is needed?

The lamp stands 159cm tall from floor to the top globe. A standard UK ceiling height of 230-240cm gives comfortable clearance. In rooms with lower ceilings the lamp may feel visually dominant.

Can the glass globes be replaced if broken?

Contact Schuller directly for replacement glass components. The globes are specific to the Inoa design and not generic parts.
