Iliada LED Pendant Light 7W 3000K - Black/Gold

The Iliada is a 12cm pendant light built around a spiralling ribbon of transparent acrylic that twists vertically like a sculpted helix, suspended from a matt black circular canopy with a gold-finished accent band. An integrated 7W LED inside the acrylic diffuses 656 lumens of 3000K warm white light through the translucent material, creating layered shadow and light as it passes through each fold of the spiral.

Designed for kitchens, breakfast bars, reading corners and hallways where ceiling heights allow a 35-160cm adjustable drop, the Iliada works as a single statement piece or in multiples spaced along a kitchen island or worktop. The compact 12cm width suits tighter spaces where a traditional pendant shade would be too large, while the vertical spiral form draws the eye upward without consuming horizontal space. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The acrylic spiral catches ambient light during the day and glows softly when the LED is active in the evening. The matt black canopy recedes into dark ceilings, while the gold accent provides a warmer transition between the ceiling mount and the transparent shade. The 0.96kg weight is light enough to hang from most UK ceiling roses without additional support. The CRI rating above 90 renders colours accurately under the 3000K output, making it suitable for areas where food preparation, reading or detailed work takes place.

Is the Iliada dimmable?

The integrated 7W LED is built into the fitting. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with this Schuller LED driver.

What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant has an adjustable drop ranging from 35cm minimum to 160cm maximum. For use above a breakfast bar or kitchen worktop, a typical installation sits 60-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

Can multiple Iliada pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. The compact 12cm width allows multiple units to be spaced along a kitchen island or worktop without crowding. Typical spacing is 50-70cm between canopies for a balanced linear arrangement.

How is the acrylic cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household glass cleaners, which can leave residue or cause clouding on acrylic over time.
