Description

The Huguenot Lake is a single-bulb bathroom wall light built around a polished chrome circular back plate with a pressed opal etched glass shade that tapers outward from base to rim. The fitting includes a 3W LED G9 bulb at 3000K colour temperature, which diffuses through the opal glass to provide soft, even illumination across approximately 1.5-2m of wall or mirror surface.

Designed for bathroom installation, the fitting carries an IP44 rating making it suitable for zones 2 and 3 in UK bathroom layouts — areas outside the shower enclosure and bath tub zone but where steam and moisture are present. The 152mm projection from the wall places the light source forward of typical bathroom mirrors, casting light onto the face rather than into the mirror itself. The fitting can be mounted with the shade facing upward or downward depending on whether you want light directed at the ceiling or down onto a basin.

The polished chrome finish provides a high-shine reflective surface that mirrors the tone of standard chrome taps, shower fittings and towel rails, maintaining visual consistency across bathroom fittings. The circular back plate measures 133mm in diameter and the overall height from mounting point to shade rim is 248mm, making it suitable for placement either side of a bathroom mirror or as a single fitting above a basin in smaller bathrooms and cloakrooms.
