The Hebden pillowcase pair pairs two faces on one cover: a waffle-textured cotton front and a garment-washed percale reverse. That waffle weave is the reason to choose these. It sits proud of a flat sheet, catching the light in a fine grid of raised squares, and gives you a soft, textural surface against the skin rather than a flat finish.
