A long, shallow rectangle of stainless steel in a polished chrome finish, drilled with twelve openings spaced along its length. It runs 1.1m end to end and 40cm across, so it reads as a deliberate horizontal band rather than a small disc, and its profile stays slim so the eye goes to the pendants and not the plate. The mirror-bright surface catches daylight and the glow of whatever hangs below. This is an accessory, not a light: it is non-electric and takes no lamp of its own.

We reach for it where several pendant drops need to work as one composition above a long dining table, a kitchen island, a bar counter or a reception desk. Twelve positions give room for a tight cluster at varied heights or an evenly spaced row, and because everything gathers into a single chrome field the result looks planned rather than scattered. It suits dry interior rooms and is not one for a shower zone, a covered porch or anywhere exposed to weather. Pendant flexes, lampholders and lamps are all specified with the fittings you hang from it.

Stainless steel gives the plate its rigidity across that span, and the polished chrome is bright rather than brushed, so it sits happily with chrome taps, chrome handles and glass. Keep it looking right with a dry microfibre cloth for dust and a barely damp one for fingerprints, buffed off straight away; scouring pads and cream cleaners will dull the shine for good. It carries a one year warranty.
