This is the plain rectangular plate that gathers a row of pendants together at the ceiling, drilled with twelve holes so cords can be dropped in a straight line or staggered across the width. At a little over 1.1m long it covers the sort of span a single pendant would light unevenly, and its shallow depth keeps it close to the ceiling rather than standing proud of it. The satin nickel finish is a soft, low shine grey silver, warmer than chrome and quieter than polished steel, so it reads as part of the design rather than something to be hidden.
