Description

The Halcyra is a 300mm diameter LED flush ceiling light with a matt black circular housing containing an integrated 13W LED panel. The colour temperature is adjustable between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white, allowing the light tone to be matched to the room's function and existing lighting scheme. The fitting sits 40mm below the ceiling surface, giving a low-profile presence suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m.

IP44 rated against water splashes, the Halcyra is suitable for bathroom zones outside the shower enclosure, above kitchen work surfaces, utility rooms, covered porches, and anywhere moisture protection is required. The flush design eliminates dust-collecting ledges and makes the fitting straightforward to wipe clean. The black finish pairs with contemporary, industrial and monochrome interiors without dominating the ceiling plane.

The housing is moulded from high-grade plastic rather than metal, which reduces weight to approximately 0.8kg and simplifies installation onto plasterboard ceilings. The 300mm diameter provides enough coverage to work as primary lighting in hallways, cloakrooms, small bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes up to 4-5m². The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux, covering the LED module and driver assembly.

Can this be used in a bathroom?
