Description

This recessed downlight is a fixed ceiling fitting that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is supplied separately rather than included. It drops into a standard 68mm cut-out and sits flush against the ceiling face, giving a neat, low-profile finish once installed. The bulb you choose sets the brightness and tone, so the fitting itself simply holds the lamp securely and directs it downward in a fixed position.

Part of the Glozo range, the housing measures Ø96 by 42 mm and takes a GU10 lamp rated up to 10W maximum. The blue finish suits spaces where the ceiling fittings are meant to read as a design feature rather than disappear, and the fixed aim keeps the light pointing straight down. It is well suited to general ceiling lighting in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, with the number of fittings driven by the room size and the lamps you fit.

The body is aluminium alloy in a blue finish, with an IP20 rating that makes it a dry indoor fitting only, so keep it clear of bathrooms and any exposed or damp locations. Installation is by recessing into the 68mm cut-out, after which the lamp twists into the GU10 holder. Whether the fitting dims depends entirely on the GU10 lamp and driver you pair with it, and the bulb is not part of the supply.
