Description
This fixed recessed downlight, part of the Glozo range, accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp and sits flush in the ceiling once installed. The bulb is supplied separately, so you can pick the wattage, tone and beam to suit the room. The fitting holds the lamp in a fixed downward position rather than a tilting one, giving a clean, even line across a ceiling when several are spaced in a run.
It drops into a 60mm cut-out and suits standard plasterboard ceilings in halls, landings, kitchens and living spaces. Rated IP20, it is intended for dry indoor locations only and should be kept clear of bathrooms and any exposed or damp areas. The compact Ø82 × 34 mm body needs only a shallow void above the ceiling, which helps where loft space or joists limit the depth available.
The housing is steel with a chrome matte finish, and takes a GU10 lamp up to 10W. Installation is by spring clips that grip the plasterboard once the fitting is pushed into the cut-out, holding it firm without visible fixings. Whether the fitting dims depends entirely on the lamp you choose, since the housing carries no driver of its own.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, the downlight is supplied without a bulb. It accepts one GU10 twist-lock lamp, which you buy separately so you can choose the wattage and tone to suit the room.
What size cut-out do I need?
The fitting drops into a 60mm cut-out in the ceiling. Once pushed in, integral spring clips grip the plasterboard and hold it flush without visible fixings.
Can I use this outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms and any exposed or damp areas.
Can the head be angled?
No, this is a fixed downlight, so the lamp points straight down. If you need a directional or tiltable head, an adjustable spotlight fitting is the better choice.
