Description

The GRL 11M10E27 is a connectable festoon run rather than a single fixed luminaire, carrying ten E27 lamp holders along an 11 metre cable on a black flex. Often called string lights or garland lights in US terms, it runs from a 220-240V AC supply and takes E27 lamps up to 10W each, so the brightness and tone are set by the bulbs you fit. The result is a relaxed line of warm points of light strung between fixed points, giving an even, decorative wash across a space.

Strung above a patio, along a pergola or across a marquee, this festoon set marks out an area and adds atmosphere rather than acting as the main task light. With ten holders spread over the cable run, the lighting works best when the line is hung in a gentle swag or zig-zag so the lamps sit clear of heads and seating below. Coverage is best judged by the length you can cover and the spacing of the holders, so plan the cable to span the area you want to light and link runs together where you need to reach further.

Built for sheltered outdoor and covered use, the GRL carries an IP44 rating, which suits porches, carports, covered patios and bathroom zones where it sees splashes rather than direct jets or full exposure. The cable, holders and finish are presented in black so the line stays discreet by day. Lamps are not integrated, so E27 bulbs are chosen separately to suit the look and brightness you want, and runs can be connected end to end to extend the layout. The complete weight is 1.86kg.
