The Knightsbridge grid switch rocker cover is a replacement rocker for modular grid switches, finished in brushed chrome over an ABS and steel construction. The rocker measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the mounting plate, fitting standard Knightsbridge grid switch modules.

Designed as a spare or replacement part for existing Knightsbridge grid installations, the rocker allows individual switch covers to be replaced without rewiring the entire grid plate. This is useful when a rocker has been damaged, when updating the finish across a property, or when specifying a different finish for specific switches within a multi-gang grid. The rocker simply clips onto the grid module mechanism after the existing rocker is removed.

The brushed chrome finish provides a directional grain texture that softens reflections compared to polished chrome, pairing well with contemporary and industrial interiors. The combined ABS body and steel insert gives the rocker durability under repeated switching while keeping the weight low. This rocker is designed for Knightsbridge modular grid switch modules. It is not compatible with standard single or double switches — only grid plate systems where individual switch functions are built into a multi-gang frame.

How is the rocker removed and replaced?

The rocker clips onto the grid module mechanism. To remove, gently pull the rocker away from the module until the clips release. To fit the new rocker, align it with the module and press until it clicks into place. No tools or wiring changes are required.

Can I mix finishes within a grid plate?

Yes. Individual rockers can be replaced with different finishes, allowing mixed-finish grids where specific switches are highlighted or differentiated. Ensure the grid plate frame finish is chosen to complement the rocker finishes you select.
