Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker cap marked 'TUMBLE DRYER' in white text on an anthracite ABS body. The cover clips onto the existing rocker mechanism of a Knightsbridge grid switch, replacing the blank or previously-marked rocker without rewiring or removing the switch from the wall.

Designed for utility rooms, kitchens and laundry areas where multiple appliances are controlled from a single bank of grid switches, the pre-printed designation helps identify which switch controls which appliance. The cover fits standard Knightsbridge 20A grid rocker switches and is compatible with both metal and plastic grid frames. The anthracite finish matches Knightsbridge's metal grid ranges in black nickel, graphite and pewter tones.

The ABS body is moulded with a steel spring clip on the reverse that locks the cover onto the rocker actuator. The 33mm height and 16mm width match Knightsbridge's standard grid module sizing, and the 6.8mm projection sits flush with the surrounding grid plate once installed. The IP20 rating is suitable for dry indoor locations.

This cover fits Knightsbridge 20A grid rocker switches. It clips onto the rocker actuator and is compatible with both metal and plastic grid frames. It will not fit standard single or double switches outside the grid system.

Can I change the cover without turning off the power?

Yes. The cover clips onto the front of the rocker mechanism and can be removed and replaced without touching any wiring or removing the switch from the wall. No electrical work is required to swap covers.
