Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker cap marked 'Cooker Hood' in raised text on a matt black ABS surface. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and clips directly onto standard Knightsbridge grid rocker switches, replacing the unmarked or differently-marked cap originally fitted.

Designed for kitchen and utility installations where multiple appliances are controlled from a single grid plate, the cover provides clear visual identification of which switch controls the cooker hood extraction fan. The pre-printed text removes the need for handwritten labels or adhesive markers that peel and fade over time. The matt black finish pairs with the rest of Knightsbridge's matt black grid range for a consistent appearance across the switch plate.

The rocker cap is moulded from ABS with an internal steel spring clip that holds it securely onto the switch mechanism underneath. Removal and replacement takes seconds without tools — press the top edge of the rocker to release the bottom, then pull the cap forwards off the switch body. The new cap clips straight back on in reverse. The matt black surface resists fingerprints and smudges better than gloss finishes.

This cover fits all standard Knightsbridge grid rocker switches in the modular grid system. It does not fit standard single or double switches outside the grid range.

Can the cover be removed and replaced?

Yes. The rocker cap clips on and off without tools. Press the top edge of the rocker to release the bottom, then pull the cap forwards off the switch body. The new cap clips straight back on.
