The Gori EL Wide is a garden spike light staked into soil or a planted border to throw light across the ground it sits in. It takes a single GU10 lamp behind a PAR16 LED reflector and runs on a standard 220 to 240V AC mains supply, drawing up to 10W. Known in the US as a landscape spike or pathway light, the fitting pushes its beam outward and upward from a low position, so the brightness and tone follow whichever GU10 lamp you fit rather than a built-in figure.

Push the spike into a flowerbed, planter or strip of soft ground and angle the head to graze a hedge, shrub or low wall. With its IP44 rating it copes with splashing and damp, which makes it a good fit for covered or sheltered spots such as a porch edge, carport border or a planted bed under eaves. It is not built for fully exposed positions, direct water jets or standing water, so keep it clear of open, unprotected ground. Coverage depends on the GU10 you choose: a narrow lamp picks out a single plant, while a wider beam washes a short run of border or a small feature.

The body is cast from aluminium alloy in an anthracite finish that suits dark garden hardware, and the head adjusts on the spike so you can aim the beam after planting. It measures 73 by 102 by 88mm and weighs 320g, light enough to reposition as a border grows.
