Description

The Gisela is a 5-light circular pendant built around a 75cm-diameter frame that suspends five black fabric shades from satin brass arms radiating from a central hub. Each shade sits on an articulated brass arm that tilts independently, allowing light direction to be adjusted after installation. The pendant ships with five E27 lamp holders (bulbs sold separately) and a height-adjustable suspension ranging from 50cm to 140cm drop.

Designed for dining tables and kitchen islands in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Gisela works as both ambient and task lighting depending on shade angle. The five shades spread light across a 2-2.4m table or island surface when angled downward, or provide wider diffused light when tilted outward. The satin brass arms contrast with the matte black ceiling canopy and cable, giving the fitting a two-tone finish that suits mid-century, industrial and contemporary interiors.

Each shade is a truncated cone covered in black textile with a white lining that reflects light downward and reduces glare when viewed from seated positions below. The combined fabric, brass and steel frame weighs 2.15kg, which requires a ceiling fitting rated for a minimum 5kg load. The satin brass finish on the arms is lacquer-sealed to resist tarnishing and fingerprints during shade adjustment.

The IP20 rating limits the Gisela to dry indoor use only. The Class 1 electrical specification requires a standard earth connection on installation. The 110/220V voltage compatibility allows use across UK mains (230V) and certain international markets where dual-voltage fittings are specified.
