Description
The Focus S is a single surface-mounted spotlight built from a white-finished aluminium cylinder measuring 192mm tall with a 52mm diameter head. The spotlight head rotates and tilts on a fixed base, allowing the beam to be directed at walls, artwork, architectural features or work surfaces. A GU10 lamp fitting inside the head accepts bulbs up to 10W (sold separately).
Designed for ceiling or wall mounting in residential and commercial interiors, the Focus S suits living rooms where accent lighting picks out paintings or shelving, kitchens needing directed light onto countertops, home offices, retail displays and gallery spaces. The 92mm base plate fixes to a standard ceiling rose or wall-mounted junction box, and the cylindrical body conceals the cable run behind the surface. The white finish integrates cleanly with white or light-painted ceilings and pairs neutrally with both warm and cool interior palettes.
The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 200g while providing durability for frequent adjustment of the spotlight head. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — bathrooms and outdoor locations require higher-rated fittings. The GU10 base allows bulb choice between LED, halogen or energy-saving options depending on the desired colour temperature, beam angle and brightness, giving flexibility to adapt the light output to the room's function.

Frequently Asked
Does the Focus S come with a bulb?
No. The spotlight takes a GU10 bulb up to 10W, sold separately. Most users choose a warm-white LED GU10 between 5-7W and 2700K-3000K for accent lighting, or a daylight-spectrum LED for task lighting over desks and counters.
Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The cylindrical head rotates 350 degrees horizontally and tilts approximately 90 degrees vertically on the fixed base, allowing the beam to be redirected without removing the fitting from the ceiling or wall.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry indoor use only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher — particularly zones 1 and 2 around baths and showers.
What beam angle works best for this spotlight?
Beam angle depends on use. A narrow 25-38 degree GU10 bulb suits accent lighting for artwork or shelving. A wider 60-120 degree bulb gives more general coverage over a desk or kitchen counter.
