Description

This Knightsbridge rocker switch cover is engraved 'FAN BOOST' and finished in brushed brass, designed to fit Knightsbridge grid switch systems. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the grid plate, and clips directly onto a compatible grid switch module to replace the unmarked rocker supplied as standard.

Used primarily in bathrooms and utility rooms where extractor fans are controlled by a dedicated switch, the engraved marking identifies the switch function without needing labels or verbal explanation. This is particularly useful in multi-gang grid installations where several switches sit side-by-side, such as a bathroom plate controlling lights, fan, and heated mirror. The brushed brass finish matches Knightsbridge's wider range of grid plates and accessories in the same finish.

The cover is moulded from ABS plastic with a steel internal bracket, and the brushed brass finish is applied over the outer surface. The engraving is recessed into the material, so the text remains legible even after years of use.
