The Expresion is a 100cm square abstract acrylic painting on stretched canvas, mounted in a gold polystyrene frame. The composition layers charcoal, cream, pale blue and terracotta in loose gestural brushstrokes, with gold-leaf accents applied to selected areas of the canvas surface. The gold catches light differently depending on viewing angle, adding depth to what reads as a two-dimensional piece from a distance.

Designed to hang in either horizontal or vertical orientation, the painting works above a console in an entrance hall, on a feature wall in a living room, or at the end of a corridor where the square format anchors the space without needing symmetrical pairs.
