Description

The EVALO is a round surface-mounted spotlight that takes a single GU10 lamp, running on a 220-240V AC supply and drawing up to 10W. It houses a PAR16 lamp, so the beam and tone follow the GU10 bulb you choose rather than being fixed into the fitting. Often called a surface ceiling light in the round category, it sits proud of the surface rather than recessing into it, giving a compact directional point of light for accent and feature work.

Indoors, the EVALO suits hallways, landings, kitchens, living rooms and home offices where a tidy single-lamp fitting is wanted on a wall or ceiling. Because its output depends on the GU10 lamp fitted, it works best as accent or supplementary light rather than the sole source for a large room, so several units placed along a run will read more evenly than one fitting alone. On a ceiling it pairs well with standard domestic heights, while wall mounting lets it wash light across a chimney breast or shelf.

The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, measuring 120 by 80 by 120 mm and weighing 306g, so it stays compact on the surface. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is for dry indoor rooms only and should be kept away from any damp or wet area. Mounting is to the wall or ceiling via the surface plate, and it accepts a GU10 PAR16 lamp that can be swapped as needed.
