Description

The English Bridle is a 622mm-tall outdoor wall lantern with three E14 bulb holders housed behind a curved clear seeded glass panel, mounted on a black cast aluminium frame. The lantern combines a traditional coach-lamp profile with decorative ironwork detailing around the glass panel and a scrolled wall bracket that projects 325mm from the wall surface. The fitting carries an IP44 rating for protection against water splashes from any direction.

Designed for large residential entrances, porch alcoves and patio walls, the 622mm height and 267mm width give the lantern presence on taller exterior walls without overwhelming single-storey porches. The three-bulb configuration spreads light vertically through the seeded glass, which diffuses the bulb filaments while maintaining visibility of the flame-tip candle shapes inside. The 325mm projection means the lantern sits clear of the wall, allowing light to wash down the wall face as well as forward into the entrance area.

The black finish is a powder-coated aluminium that resists corrosion in coastal and high-rainfall environments.
