Description

This is a standard E27 lampholder, a holder that a separate E27 screw-cap bulb twists into. The bulb is not included, and the holder produces no light of its own; the chosen bulb provides the brightness and tone. It is rated at 250V AC and 4A, with a grey body and a terminal block connection for the supply wires.

The fitting suits replacement or repair work where an existing E27 holder has failed, and for assembling or rewiring a fixture, pendant or fitting that takes a standard Edison screw bulb. It handles operating temperatures up to 180°C, so it copes with the heat a bulb gives off in an enclosed or pendant setting.

Wiring connects through the integral terminal block, which clamps the conductors without soldering for a tidy, secure join. The grey moulding and screw-cap thread accept any standard E27 lamp. As always, fit the holder with the supply isolated and confirm the bulb wattage stays within the fixture's rating.
