Description

The Duna is an 83cm linear pendant combining a polished chrome frame with three curved white acrylic diffuser panels, each housing a single E27 bulb. The chrome structure forms three arched segments that hold the opal acrylic in place, creating a continuous light bar 830mm long and 100mm wide. The diffusers soften the light from the three E27 bulbs into a uniform warm glow, removing glare and bright spots.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan zones, the Duna suits spaces where a linear light source is needed along a worktop or table without dropping too low into the sightline. The drop is adjustable between 490mm and 720mm on installation, allowing the fitting to clear standard ceiling heights of 2.4m while keeping the light source within effective range of a table or island surface. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light back into the room, adding a sense of depth without dominating the space.

The white acrylic panels are held within the chrome frame, so there are no visible fixings or seams on the front face of the diffuser. The overall weight of 3kg requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or ceiling batten rather than plasterboard alone. The three E27 sockets accept standard screw-fit bulbs up to 15W each; the fitting ships with CFL bulbs included, though these can be replaced with LED equivalents for longer life and lower running cost.
