Duna 58cm 6 Light Pendant - Polished Chrome White Acrylic

The Duna is a 58cm diameter pendant built from six curved polished chrome arms that loop and interlock around a central hub, each arm housing a white opal acrylic diffuser panel. Six E27 bulbs (included as CFL) sit behind the acrylic, casting 2700K warm white light through the panels to create an even glow across the entire fitting. The chrome arms reflect light back into the structure, adding depth and layering the illumination.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights above 2.5m, the Duna works as both a functional light source and a sculptural centrepiece. The 500-730mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or worktop depending on ceiling height. The 580mm diameter gives enough presence to anchor a 6-8 seater dining table or a 3-4m kitchen island without overwhelming smaller rooms. The polished chrome finish pairs with both contemporary and transitional interiors.

Each of the six acrylic panels is edged in a chrome frame that follows the curve of the arm, giving the fitting a clean geometric silhouette when viewed from below. The intertwined arm configuration creates a sense of movement without mechanical complexity, the arms are fixed, not adjustable. At 4.6kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing to a joist or reinforced ceiling rose. The included CFL bulbs are dimmable when paired with a trailing-edge dimmer suitable for CFL loads.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Duna comes with six E27 CFL bulbs at 2700K warm white. These are dimmable when used with a trailing-edge dimmer suitable for CFL loads. You can replace them with LED E27 bulbs if preferred.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 500-730mm adjustable drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which requires a minimum ceiling height of around 2.5m to avoid the fitting hanging too low.

Can it be shortened or lengthened after installation?

The drop is adjusted during installation by setting the cable length and locking it at the ceiling canopy. Once installed the drop is fixed unless the fitting is taken down and re-adjusted.

What size table does the 580mm diameter suit?

The 580mm diameter works over a 6-8 seater rectangular dining table (typically 1600-2400mm long) or a 3-4m kitchen island. For smaller 4-seater tables the fitting may look oversized; for very long tables above 2.5m you may need multiple pendants or a larger diameter fitting.
