Description

The Duna is a 65cm diameter pendant with four curved polished chrome arms arranged in a cross formation, each arm housing an opal acrylic diffuser over an E27 bulb socket. The chrome arms wrap around the diffusers in a continuous flowing curve, creating a sculptural profile that works both as ambient light source and decorative focal point.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Duna suits contemporary interiors where the fitting itself becomes part of the room's visual language. The adjustable drop between 470mm and 700mm allows the pendant to be positioned 600-900mm above a surface depending on ceiling height. The 65cm diameter provides presence without overwhelming tables up to 1.8m in length.

Each of the four arms holds an opal acrylic diffuser that softens the E27 bulb light and distributes it evenly across the chrome curves, turning the entire fitting into a glowing sculptural object rather than a point light source. The polished chrome finish reflects room light during the day and creates secondary highlights when the bulbs are lit. The fitting weighs 3.4kg and requires secure ceiling fixing. CFL lamps are included, but the E27 sockets accept LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 15W per socket.

Are bulbs included?

CFL lamps are included with the Duna. The fitting accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 15W per socket, so you can replace the CFLs with LED, halogen or filament alternatives if preferred.

Is the Duna dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and use a compatible dimmer switch. The included CFL lamps may not be dimmable, so check the bulb packaging or replace with dimmable LED E27 bulbs rated for use with your dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 470mm to 700mm. For a dining table or island the pendant typically sits 600-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 360mm height of the fitting itself must also be factored in.

How is the polished chrome cleaned?

Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works well. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the polished finish.
