Description

The Duna is a 62cm pendant built around three curved chrome-plated arms, each wrapped with an opal acrylic diffuser, forming a circular composition that radiates soft light in multiple directions. Three E27 bulbs sit inside the diffusers (15W CFL bulbs included), producing 2700K warm white light distributed evenly across the 620mm diameter frame. The total power draw is 45W across all three lamps.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Duna suits spaces where ambient light is needed without creating a single point source. The drop is adjustable between 470mm and 700mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be set at the appropriate height above a surface or in an open hall. The polished chrome finish reflects soft highlights under daylight and complements both cool-toned and warm contemporary interiors.

The opal acrylic diffusers hide the bulb filaments and distribute light evenly, avoiding harsh glare points. The curved arm design gives the fitting a 360mm total height from the canopy to the lowest point of the diffusers. The combined chrome frame and acrylic adds up to 2.8kg, requiring a ceiling rose or mounting point rated for at least 3kg. The fitting is dimmable if paired with suitable E27 dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Does the Duna come with bulbs?

Yes. Three 15W E27 CFL bulbs are included, rated at 2700K warm white. These can be replaced with E27 LED or halogen bulbs if preferred, as long as they stay within the 15W per socket limit.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting supports dimming when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The included CFL bulbs may not dim smoothly on all dimmers, replacing them with dimmable LED bulbs gives better dimming performance.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 470mm to 700mm. For a dining table or kitchen island, the fitting typically hangs 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the Duna if the drop is shortened during installation.

How is the opal acrylic cleaned?

Wipe the acrylic diffusers with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with warm water and a drop of mild washing-up liquid is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents or rough materials that can scratch the acrylic.
