The Delamere is a reversible outdoor cushion measuring 45 x 45cm, giving you two very different looks from a single piece. One face carries a hand-painted wildflower design on a cream ground, with dahlias, daisies and slender stems in warm orange, coral and soft green. Turn it over and you have a yarn-dyed check in orange, sand and cream. It is a genuinely two-sided cushion, so you can change the mood of a seat without buying anything new.

This is a piece made to sit outside as readily as in. Its water-resistant cotton blend is built to cope with the odd shower and the general knocks of garden use, which makes it a sound choice for a bench, a garden chair or a bistro set. Indoors it works just as well on a sofa or a reading chair, where you might lead with the floral for spring and the check through autumn. The two prints are drawn from the same warm palette, so it sits comfortably alongside other cushions rather than fighting them.
