Description

The Cooper Large is a 390mm curved wall light built around a half-moon faux silk shade in ivory, mounted on a polished chrome backplate. The shade wraps 180 degrees around a single E27 bulb fitting, diffusing light evenly across the fabric surface while the chrome backplate reflects a small amount of light back onto the wall behind.

Designed for ambient and decorative lighting rather than task lighting, the Cooper Large suits living rooms, hallways, dining rooms and bedrooms where wall-mounted lighting adds warmth without the need for a central ceiling fitting. The 135mm projection and 390mm width make it proportionate for walls 3m or longer, and it can be installed singly as accent lighting or in pairs flanking a doorway, mirror or feature wall. The E27 fitting accepts any standard LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

The faux silk shade is stretched over a rigid wire frame, giving the fabric a smooth surface with a subtle vertical grain visible when backlit. The ivory tone provides neutral warmth that pairs comfortably with both cool and warm colour schemes, while the polished chrome backplate brings a reflective accent that reads as contemporary rather than traditional. The shade is opaque enough to prevent direct glare from the bulb but translucent enough to glow evenly when lit.
