Description

The Colette is a 60cm diameter circular LED pendant light with a polished chrome ring frame and three curved opal silicone diffuser panels set within the ring. The integrated 54W LED array behind the diffusers produces 4860 lumens at 3000K, casting soft ambient light downward and outward through the milky silicone without direct glare from the diodes.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and low-ceiling spaces where a traditional pendant would hang too low, the Colette's circular profile sits parallel to the ceiling rather than dropping a large shade into the room. The suspension cables allow drop adjustment from 50cm to 115cm during installation, so the fitting can be set 70-90cm above a dining surface or 40-60cm below a standard 2.4m ceiling depending on the desired visual weight. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with cooler-toned interiors, metallic kitchen fixtures and mirrored furniture.

The opal silicone diffusers are flexible rather than rigid acrylic, giving a softer edge to the light panels and reducing the risk of cracking if the fitting is knocked during cleaning or installation. The 1.8kg total weight requires a secure ceiling rose fixing — gravity toggles are included in the box for plasterboard ceilings. The TRIAC dimmable driver responds to standard leading-edge and trailing-edge household dimmers, allowing output to be reduced from full 4860 lumens down to approximately 10% for evening ambiance.

Yes. The integrated LED driver is TRIAC dimmable and compatible with standard leading-edge and trailing-edge household dimmers. Dimming range is approximately 10-100% of full output.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable suspension allows drop heights from 50cm to 115cm. In a room with a 2.4m ceiling, the minimum 50cm drop leaves 2.3m clearance below the fitting. For dining tables, the fitting typically hangs 70-90cm above the surface.

Can it be fitted to a plasterboard ceiling?

Yes. Gravity toggles are included for secure fixing to plasterboard ceilings. The 1.8kg total weight is within the safe load for standard plasterboard toggles when correctly installed.
