Description

This is the Christmas Spirit cushion, a 30 x 50cm bolster printed with a festive town scene on a soft snow-flecked ground. Look closely and there is plenty to find: a chocolate box row of shopfronts, decorated trees, a little car with a tree strapped to its roof and windows lit warm yellow against the winter sky. The front is printed velvet; the reverse is a plain velvet in a deep Santa Claus red, finished with a piped trim that runs the whole way round the edge. It is made from 100% polyester.

The long, low bolster shape suits a sofa or an armchair better than a square cushion does, sitting comfortably across the small of your back or propped at one end of a settee. At 30 x 50cm it works as the front layer in a group, with plainer cushions stacked behind it, and the red piped edge picks up naturally against a green or cream sofa.
