This is a festive velvet cushion carrying a hand painted, printed design of four dogs gathered in falling snow. One wears a red Santa hat, two wear reindeer antlers, and the whole group is tangled together in a string of bright Christmas lights. Behind them sits a wintry forest and a snow covered ground, printed across a soft grey face in richly coloured, realistic detail. The cushion measures 30 x 50cm, a rectangular bolster shape rather than the usual square, which makes it useful where a square cushion would sit too tall.

A long cushion like this earns its place along the back of a sofa or an armchair, filling the width without stacking up in front of the taller cushions behind it.
