Description

The Celestia is a 750mm linear LED wall light with two slim matt black bars extending from a central cylindrical mount, each housing integrated 3000K LEDs. The IP44 rating allows installation in covered outdoor locations such as porches, verandas, carports and entrance canopies, as well as bathrooms and wetrooms indoors. The two bars create a balanced 180° wash of warm white light along the wall surface.

Designed for horizontal mounting above doorways, along fence runs, or flanking garage doors, the Celestia provides functional outdoor lighting without the bulk of traditional bulkhead fittings. The 750mm width gives meaningful light coverage across a 2-3m horizontal span when mounted at typical door-header height of 2.1-2.4m. The 55mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of door and window frames, while the minimal 15mm height profile reduces visual impact during daylight hours.

The matt black powder-coat finish resists UV degradation and moisture intrusion in outdoor installations. Each of the two LED strips delivers directional light outward from the central mount, casting a glow along the wall rather than projecting forward into the space. The non-dimmable 13W output is fixed, simplifying installation to a standard UK outdoor lighting circuit with no additional dimming hardware required. The fitting carries a 5-year warranty covering both the LED driver and the housing.

Is the Celestia suitable for fully exposed outdoor use?

The IP44 rating protects against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas such as porches, verandas and entrance canopies. It is not rated for fully exposed locations subject to driving rain or direct weather.

Can the Celestia be mounted vertically?

The design assumes horizontal mounting with the two bars extending left and right from the central mount. Vertical mounting would create an unusual up-and-down light distribution and is not the intended installation orientation.

What height should it be mounted at?

For doorway installations, mounting the fitting at standard door-header height of 2.1-2.4m provides downward wash light across the door surround and threshold. For fence or wall illumination, mount at eye level or slightly above depending on the desired light coverage.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LEDs are integrated into the fitting and are not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers LED failure, and typical LED lifespan is 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to 15-20 years at 4 hours per night.
