Description

The Celestia is a 115cm LED bathroom wall light built around two integrated 16W LED modules housed within a horizontal brass-finished tube. The fixture casts warm 3000K light along its full length, providing even illumination across a mirror, vanity or basin wall without creating harsh shadows or glare. The IP44 rating makes the fitting suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3.

Designed for installation above mirrors and along vanity walls, the Celestia suits bathrooms with wall widths of 100-130cm where the light needs to span most of the mirror or basin run. The low 15mm height and 55mm projection keep the fitting close to the wall, making it compatible with bathrooms where headroom or clearance is limited. The brass finish pairs with warm-toned bathrooms, period properties and contemporary schemes using brass taps, towel rails or cabinet hardware.

The two LED modules are non-replaceable but carry a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux. The brass tube is a plated metal finish rather than solid brass, allowing the fitting to remain lightweight at approximately 1.2kg. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white light similar to halogen, rather than the cooler 4000K-5000K commonly used in clinical or commercial bathroom lighting.

Is the Celestia dimmable?

No. The integrated LED modules are non-dimmable. Attempting to fit the light onto a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or premature failure of the LED driver.

Which bathroom zones is it rated for?

The IP44 rating makes the Celestia suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, meaning it can be installed above the bath or shower (60cm minimum clearance from water sources) and anywhere else in the bathroom outside zone 1. It is not rated for use directly within the shower enclosure or above the bath within 60cm of the water.

Can the LED modules be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated and non-replaceable. However, Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty covering LED failure, and the modules are rated for 30,000+ hours, equivalent to approximately 10 years of typical bathroom use at 8 hours per day.

What width of mirror does it suit?

At 115cm length, the Celestia suits mirrors and vanity runs between 100cm and 130cm wide. For narrower mirrors, Ideal Lux produces shorter versions of the Celestia in the same brass finish.
