Cat LED Floor Lamp 43W 3000K - White

The Cat is a 108cm floor lamp built around a curved white metal frame with an integrated 43W LED running along the inside of the curve. An opal silicone diffuser covers the LED strip, casting 3000K warm white light through the translucent material and producing ambient glow rather than directed task light. The lamp sits on a circular white metal base with a weighted footprint of 30cm depth.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and reading corners where ambient background light is needed without overhead ceiling fittings, the Cat works beside low seating, in the corner of a room, or against a feature wall where the curved form acts as a vertical accent. The organic curve of the frame creates a flowing silhouette that pairs with contemporary, Scandinavian and Japandi interiors where softer shapes contrast with rectilinear furniture. The 82cm width requires clearance space around the lamp to accommodate the full curve without obstruction.

The metal frame and aluminium construction give the lamp a 3.75kg weight that keeps the base stable on carpet and hard floors without needing additional anchoring. The matte white finish on the metal reduces glare and blends with neutral wall tones, while the opal diffuser softens the LED output to prevent visible hotspots along the curve. The 43W power draw produces 3.6 lumens output with a CRI of >80, which is lower output than typical floor lamps but sufficient for ambient fill light in rooms with other light sources.

The Cat operates on 33-38V via an integrated transformer and connects to standard UK mains. IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. The lamp is supplied with assembly instructions and requires basic fitting of the base to the upright on installation.

Is the Cat dimmable?

The integrated 43W LED is not dimmable. The lamp operates at fixed output on mains power via the integrated transformer.

How much space does the curved frame need?

The full width of the curve is 82cm at its widest point. Allow at least 90cm of clearance to accommodate the lamp without the curve touching furniture or walls.

Can it be used as a reading light?

The Cat produces ambient fill light rather than directed task light. The 3.6 lumen output is low compared to typical reading lamps, so it works best as secondary lighting in a room with other sources rather than as a sole reading light.

Does it require assembly?

Yes. The base and upright are supplied separately and require assembly on installation. The process is straightforward and covered in the included assembly instruction PDF.
