Description

The Carroll 2 is a traditional bathroom wall light with a trumpet-shaped clear glass shade and a polished chrome bracket, backplate and detailing. The fitting is manufactured from solid brass with a mirror-finish chrome plating, a ridged fluted arm and a circular stepped backplate. It carries an IP44 rating for protection against moisture and splashes, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3.

Designed for bathrooms, cloakrooms and hallways, the Carroll 2 provides ambient lighting through the clear glass shade while the polished chrome reflects additional light into the space. The fitting sits proud of the wall by approximately 180mm at the glass rim, giving it presence on either side of a basin mirror or along a corridor wall. The G9 bulb sits inside the glass shade, visible when lit, so the bulb choice affects the overall appearance.

The clear glass shade has a gentle outward curve at the rim and tapers towards the base where it meets the chrome socket housing. The ridged detailing on the arm and the stepped profile of the circular backplate give the fitting a classical aesthetic that pairs with period bathroom suites, traditional tiling and chrome tapware. The solid brass construction under the chrome finish adds weight and stability to the wall mounting.

The fitting includes a 3W LED G9 bulb on delivery. The G9 socket accepts replacement bulbs up to a maximum wattage specified by Elstead Lighting, allowing the option to upgrade to a higher-lumen LED or a different colour temperature depending on room requirements.

Yes. The IP44 rating protects the fitting against moisture and splashes, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. It should not be installed within the immediate shower enclosure (zone 1) or directly above a bath (zone 0).

Is the bulb replaceable?

Yes. The fitting includes a 3W LED G9 bulb on delivery but accepts replacement G9 bulbs up to the maximum wattage specified by Elstead. The glass shade lifts off the bracket to access the bulb socket.
