The Brooke cushion carries an all-over embroidered abstract design, worked in black thread across a natural cream cotton ground. The pattern is a set of hand-drawn geometric marks, blocks, bars and curved shapes, that read as a modern, minimalist composition rather than a repeating print. It measures 45 x 45cm, the standard square that suits most sofas and beds, and the face is 100% cotton with a plain, undecorated reverse.

This is a cushion for a pared-back room. The two-tone palette sits easily against grey, stone and off-white upholstery, and the graphic pattern gives a neutral sofa something to hold the eye without adding colour.
