Description

The Brillix is an outdoor LED wall light with a compact brown powder-coated metal housing and an integrated 9W 4000K LED module. The fitting projects 164mm from the wall and measures 100mm in length, with a white polycarbonate diffuser angled at approximately 30 degrees to direct light downward and forward. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for covered porches, side walls, and garden areas with some weather exposure.

Designed for pathways, driveways, patios and garden walls, the Brillix mounts directly to exterior masonry or timber using two screws through the back plate. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white light that sits between warm ambient lighting and cooler security-focused floodlights, providing functional visibility without the cold blue tone of higher-temperature LEDs. The 9W output delivers approximately 700-900 lumens depending on environmental temperature, sufficient to illuminate a 2-3m radius around the fitting.

The brown finish is a mid-tone powder coat applied to die-cast aluminium, giving the housing corrosion resistance and a matt surface that minimises glare from direct sunlight during the day. The polycarbonate diffuser is impact-resistant to IK07 standard and UV-stabilised to prevent yellowing over time. The fitting weighs approximately 600g and the integrated LED is rated for 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to roughly 10 years at 8 hours per night use. The housing runs on 230V mains and requires a qualified electrician for installation.
