Description

This is the Bramble Mice cushion, a rectangular 30 x 50cm scatter cushion with a printed front and a reversible design. The face carries a trio of hand-painted mice, painted in soft watercolour style, perched among dandelion clocks and meadow grasses on a pale oatmeal ground. Turn it over and the reverse is a country check in olive green, brown and a fine red overcheck, so you have two looks in one cushion. It is made from 100&percent; polyester throughout.

At 30 x 50cm this is a bolster-shaped rectangle rather than a square, which makes it useful as the front cushion in a layered arrangement, sitting in front of larger square scatters on a sofa or across the head of a bed. The soft, warm handle and the earthy countryside palette suit a relaxed rural scheme, and it works happily alongside checks, tweeds and other painted-animal designs. The two faces let you switch between the illustrated mice and the plain country check depending on your mood or the season.

The cushion is finished with a zip closure along one edge, which makes the cover straightforward to remove when it needs freshening up.
