Description

Set close to the ceiling on a satin nickel plate, this pairs a dual faux silk drum shade in raw cocoa with a Grecian bronze lining, so the light takes on a faint warmth as it falls. At 30cm across, the shade reads as a proper shade rather than a token cover, while the fitting itself stays tight to the ceiling line. We stock it as a finished pairing, plate and shade together, rather than parts to match up.

It suits rooms where headroom is short: hallways and landings, a small bedroom, a study, the top of a staircase where a pendant would hang into the way. One lamp does the work, an E27 with a maximum of 20W, and an LED GLS is the shape we would reach for, since it sits neatly inside the drum. Dimming is possible with a compatible lamp and dimmer, worth arranging in a bedroom where you want the level low in the evening.
