Description

The Knightsbridge BA03P3MW is a ceiling-mounted triple spotlight with three independently adjustable GU10 heads mounted on a 246mm circular base plate in matt white pressed steel. Each head tilts 90° and rotates 350° on its mounting, allowing light to be directed across a room, down onto surfaces, or angled to highlight specific areas.

Rated IP44, the fitting is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, as well as kitchens, utility rooms, hallways and commercial spaces where moisture resistance is required. The 122mm projection from the ceiling means the fitting works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above without the heads sitting too low into the visual field. The white finish integrates cleanly with white ceilings and pairs with both modern and traditional bathroom schemes.

Each head takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 20W (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or compatible lamp types based on brightness and colour temperature requirements. The pressed steel construction and clear glass lenses provide durability in damp environments, and the Class I electrical rating requires an earth connection during installation.

What bathroom zones is this IP44 spotlight suitable for?

IP44 provides protection against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction. This makes the fitting suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 — typically the area outside a 60cm radius from a shower head or bath edge. It is not rated for zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower cubicle) or zone 0 (inside the bath or shower tray).

What bulbs does it take?

Each of the three heads takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 20W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit 4-6W LED GU10 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for bathroom use, providing sufficient task light without glare.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the GU10 bulbs fitted. Dimmable LED GU10 bulbs will allow the fitting to be controlled by a compatible dimmer switch; non-dimmable bulbs will not. Check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.

How adjustable are the spotlight heads?

Each head tilts 90° from horizontal to near-vertical and rotates 350° on its base mounting. This allows light to be directed across the room, down onto a mirror or vanity area, or angled to wash a wall or ceiling.
