Description

The Axel DALI Dimmable Control Module is a 55mm diameter accessory that retrofits into Knightsbridge Axel 100W, 150W and 200W high bay fixtures to enable addressable DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) control. The module allows each fixture to be assigned an individual DALI address and grouped into zones, giving installers the ability to control multiple high bays from a centralised DALI controller rather than switching them manually or in fixed circuits.

Designed for commercial, industrial and warehouse environments where lighting needs vary by shift pattern, occupancy or daylight contribution, the module integrates with third-party building management systems (BMS) and standalone DALI controllers. Once addressed, individual fixtures or groups can be dimmed, scheduled or triggered by sensors to reduce energy consumption during low-activity periods. The 29mm projection fits within the standard Axel high bay body without altering the external appearance of the fixture.

Installation involves wiring the module between the mains supply and the high bay driver, then assigning addresses via a DALI commissioning tool. The white finish matches the standard Axel high bay housing, keeping the module discreet when the fixture is viewed from below. The module carries a 5-year warranty matching the Axel high bay range.
