Aureum Marble Table Lamp - White & Brass

The Aureum is a 770mm marble table lamp built around a tapered column of solid white marble, set on a stepped brass plinth with a slim brass stem rising to a 420mm drum shade. A small clear crystal sphere sits between the top of the marble column and the brass neck, breaking the vertical line, and a rounded brass finial caps the shade. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately).

At 770mm tall with a 420mm shade diameter, the Aureum suits bedside tables in master bedrooms, console tables in entrance halls, and side tables flanking a sofa where a taller, more sculptural lamp is wanted over a compact bedside style. Pairs work well as symmetrical bedside lighting on king or super-king beds, where the height of the shade sits at roughly seated reading level. The E27 fitting accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs.

The marble column shows natural veining that varies between individual lamps, so no two pieces look identical when lit. What bulb does the Aureum take?

The lamp takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most buyers pair it with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or living room ambient light. Check the maximum wattage on the lamp's rating label before fitting a higher-output bulb.

Is the marble veining the same on every lamp?

No. Each column is cut from natural white marble, so the veining pattern, tone and intensity vary between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and means each Aureum is visually unique.

What size table suits a 770mm lamp?

The Aureum works best on bedside tables and consoles around 700-900mm wide, where the 420mm shade has clearance on either side. On a standard 600mm bedside table the shade may overhang slightly, so taller, narrower side tables tend to balance the proportions better.

How is the marble cleaned?

Wipe the marble with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid household sprays, polishes, vinegar or any acidic cleaner, as these can etch the stone surface. The brass should be dusted only — do not use metal polish on lacquered brass.
