Description
The Arvello is a 210mm semi-flush ceiling light built around a brushed brass dome canopy and a cylindrical natural Spanish alabaster diffuser suspended at its centre. The canopy is formed from solid copper with a brushed brass finish, while the alabaster diffuser is cut and shaped to soften the G9 lamp held inside. The total drop is 130mm, keeping the fitting close to the ceiling line.
The low 130mm projection makes the Arvello suitable for rooms with lower ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.5m, where a hanging pendant would feel intrusive. It works well in hallways, landings, walk-in wardrobes, smaller bedrooms and ensuite ceilings where a flush or semi-flush profile is needed. The G9 lamp is concealed within the alabaster cylinder, so light reads as a soft glow through the stone rather than a visible bulb.
Each alabaster diffuser shows different veining, cloudy formations and tonal variation, since the stone is cut from natural blocks rather than moulded or printed. The brushed brass on the canopy is warm-toned and low-sheen, pairing comfortably with both classical and contemporary interiors. The 210mm canopy diameter gives a contained footprint on the ceiling without dominating smaller rooms, while the solid copper construction beneath the brass plating gives the fitting a substantial feel in hand.

Frequently Asked
Is the Arvello suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. With a total drop of 130mm and a 210mm canopy diameter, the Arvello is designed as a semi-flush fitting for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.5m, where a pendant would project too far into the room.
What bulb does it take?
The fitting takes a single G9 lamp, sold separately. A G9 LED between 2700K and 3000K is typically used to complement the warm tones of the brushed brass canopy and the natural alabaster.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. The diffuser is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloudy formations and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and becomes most visible once the lamp is illuminated.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The Specification tab does not list an IP rating for the Arvello, so it should be treated as a standard interior fitting and not installed in bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. It is suited to hallways, landings, bedrooms and similar dry interior spaces.
