Description

The Arian is a 105cm linear bar pendant with five glass shades suspended from a brown chrome-plated steel canopy. Each shade contains crystal beads that scatter light from an integrated 10W G9 LED, creating diffused ambient light with a decorative shimmer when viewed from below or at an angle. The fixture includes an RF remote control for dimming, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness to a low glow without a wall dimmer.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and hallway runs where linear overhead light is needed, the Arian fits ceiling heights between 2.3m and 3.3m with an adjustable cable drop from 30cm to 130cm. The 105cm canopy width makes it appropriate for island surfaces between 150cm and 200cm long, or dining tables seating six to eight. The five pendants hang evenly spaced along the bar, providing consistent illumination across the full width of the surface below.

The brown chrome finish on the steel frame and canopy gives a warm metallic tone that sits between antique brass and gunmetal, pairing with both warm-toned timber cabinetry and cooler grey or white kitchen palettes. The glass shades measure approximately 13cm diameter and 18cm tall, with the internal crystal beads visible through the clear glass when unlit and illuminated when the LEDs are switched on. The total weight of 3.52kg requires a standard ceiling rose capable of supporting up to 5kg.

The integrated LEDs are non-replaceable and rated at 50W total output (5 x 10W) on 220-240V mains. No. The G9 LEDs are integrated into the fixture and non-replaceable. The rated lifespan for LED modules of this type is typically 15,000-20,000 hours, which translates to approximately 10-15 years of typical domestic use at 3-4 hours per day.

How does the remote dimming work?

The Arian includes an RF (radio frequency) remote control that communicates with a receiver built into the canopy. RF remotes do not require line-of-sight to the fixture, so the pendant can be dimmed from anywhere in the room. The remote is battery-powered and included with the fitting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable cable drop ranges from 30cm minimum to 130cm maximum. For installation over a kitchen island or dining table, the typical hang height is 70-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. Lower ceilings benefit from the shorter 30cm drop setting.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Arian to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, utility rooms, covered outdoor areas or any location with moisture exposure.
