Description

The Ariadna is a 66cm crystal chandelier built around 12 curved glass bars in champagne tone, arranged in a dome formation on a chrome metal frame. Each of the 12 G9 LED bulbs (included, 4.5W each) sits within one of the curved bars, creating refracted light through the champagne-tinted crystal as the primary visual effect. The chandelier is height-adjustable via steel tensors between a minimum 45cm drop and a maximum 130cm drop, and includes a radio frequency remote control for dimming.

Designed for dining rooms, large entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Ariadna provides both ambient light and a centrepiece visual. The 66cm diameter suits rooms of approximately 4m x 4m or larger, and the champagne crystal tone warms the light output compared to clear crystal. The adjustable drop allows the fitting to be raised or lowered during installation to suit the specific ceiling height and table or seating arrangement below.

The curved crystal bars are precision-cut and hand-assembled onto the chrome frame, with each bar creating an arc that follows the dome profile of the fitting. The champagne tone is consistent across all bars but the exact depth of colour varies slightly between individual bars due to the nature of the crystal tinting process. The chrome canopy measures approximately 22cm diameter and houses the dimmer receiver, which pairs with the included remote control on installation. At 6kg total weight the fitting requires a ceiling fixing rated for suspension loads.

The IP20 rating limits the Ariadna to dry indoor locations only. The 12x G9 LED bulbs provide a combined 5,640 lumens at full brightness, controlled via the remote dimmer down to approximately 10% output for low-level evening lighting. The Class 1 electrical rating requires an earthed supply.

Are the G9 LED bulbs included?

Yes. The Ariadna ships with 12x G9 4.5W LED bulbs already installed. These are dimmable and controlled via the included remote.

How does the remote dimmer work?

The chandelier includes a radio frequency remote control that pairs with a receiver housed in the chrome canopy. The remote allows you to dim the light output from full brightness down to approximately 10% without needing a wall-mounted dimmer switch. Pairing instructions are in the assembly guide.

What drop height should I set for a dining table?

For a standard dining table the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The steel tensors allow adjustment between 45cm and 130cm total drop, so the exact position can be set during installation to suit your ceiling height.

Can the champagne crystal bars be replaced if damaged?

Replacement crystal bars are not sold separately by Schuller as standard spares. The bars are hand-assembled onto the frame during manufacture and removing one risks damaging adjacent bars. For damage claims or missing components contact Niori within 48 hours of delivery.
