Ariadna 12 Light Crystal Chandelier - Champagne

The Ariadna is a 12-light crystal chandelier built from curved champagne-toned crystal bars arranged in a radial formation around a polished chrome frame. Each bar arcs outward from a central spherical hub, creating a bowl-like silhouette 66cm in diameter and 22cm tall when viewed at suspension height. Twelve G9 LED bulbs sit between the crystal bars, casting light through the champagne glass and reflecting off the chrome metalwork.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Ariadna is suspended on steel cables that allow the drop to be adjusted between 45cm and 130cm during installation. This range accommodates both standard 2.4m ceilings (where a shorter drop is needed) and taller spaces where a longer suspension creates visual drama. The 6kg weight requires secure fixing into a joist or ceiling beam using the included gravity toggles.

The champagne crystal bars are cut and polished to catch light at different angles as you move around the room, creating shifting highlights without the sharp sparkle of clear crystal. The polished chrome frame and central hub provide a cooler metallic contrast that stops the champagne tone from reading as too warm or traditional. The included G9 LED bulbs deliver 6.6 lumens combined output at 3000K, providing ambient rather than task lighting — pair with additional downlights or reading lamps in larger rooms.

The Ariadna carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is suitable for dry indoor locations only and should not be installed in bathrooms, conservatories or outdoor covered areas where moisture or condensation is present. The Class 1 electrical classification requires an earth connection during installation.

Are the G9 bulbs included?

Yes. The Ariadna ships with 12 x G9 LED bulbs pre-installed. These are 6W LEDs rated at 3000K warm white. Replacement G9 bulbs are available separately if needed in future.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable suspension allows a drop between 45cm and 130cm. For a dining table installation the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. Lower ceilings can use the minimum 45cm drop setting.

How is the chandelier fixed to the ceiling?

The 6kg weight requires fixing into a ceiling joist or beam. Gravity toggles are included for installation into solid ceilings. The suspension cables attach to a ceiling rose which must be earthed (Class 1 electrical classification).

Can the crystal bars be cleaned?

Yes. Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe each crystal bar with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but dry immediately and avoid soaking the chrome metalwork or allowing water near the lampholders.
