Description

The Argos is a 40cm flush ceiling light combining a brown mirrored glass dome with cascading crystal drops and five G9 LED bulbs. The shallow 23cm height allows the fitting to sit close to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low. The brown mirrored glass reflects light inward while the crystal drops diffract it into prismatic patterns across the ceiling surface.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, compact lounges and any space where a flush mount is needed but decorative impact matters, the Argos pairs the function of a ceiling light with the detail of a decorative piece. The remote control allows brightness adjustment and on/off switching without needing a wall dimmer. Five G9 4.5W LED bulbs are included, delivering warm light at 2700K. Gravity toggles are supplied to secure the fitting flush to the ceiling on plasterboard or masonry.

The brown mirrored finish gives the glass dome a warm bronze tone under daylight, shifting to a deeper amber when the bulbs are lit. The crystal drops hang from wire supports inside the dome, creating depth and movement as they catch the light. At 4.5kg the fitting requires solid ceiling fixing but the weight adds to the sense of substance rather than appearing lightweight or insubstantial. The Argos is part of Schuller's Murano-inspired range, made in Spain.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 23cm height makes the Argos flush ceiling light suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would sit too low. The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling with minimal projection into the room.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. Five G9 4.5W LED bulbs are included with the fitting, rated at 2700K warm white. The bulbs are dimmable via the remote control.

How does the remote control work?

The remote allows brightness adjustment across multiple levels and on/off switching. The receiver is integrated into the fitting's electrical assembly, so no separate controller box is needed on the ceiling rose or in the ceiling void.

What ceiling fixing is needed?

The 4.5kg weight requires a secure ceiling fixing. Gravity toggles are included for plasterboard ceilings, but a solid fixing into a joist or masonry is preferable for long-term stability. The fitting is Class 1 and requires an earth connection.
