Description

The Arcena is a 900mm diameter circular LED pendant light built around a single continuous ring of white-painted metal, with an integrated dimmable LED running around the inner edge of the hoop. The LED casts 3000K warm white light both downwards and upwards, illuminating the surface beneath while also washing the ceiling with soft indirect light.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas where a clear central field of view matters, the Arcena's thin 25mm profile and ring construction minimise visual obstruction. The 2500mm suspension cable allows the pendant to be set anywhere from 600mm above a dining table to 1500mm or more in double-height spaces. The cable is adjustable on installation and conceals the electrical run from the ceiling rose to the LED driver housed in the ring canopy.

The white finish on the metal ring provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes, while the integrated LED removes the need for separate bulbs or maintenance. Dimming is controlled via a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately) or smart home system, allowing the light output to be adjusted for task lighting during meals or dialled down to ambient levels for evening use. The IP20 rating restricts the Arcena to dry indoor locations only.

Is the Arcena dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable and requires a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge wall dimmer (sold separately). Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, confirm compatibility with your dimmer manufacturer before installation.

What height should it hang above a dining table?

For a standard 750mm-high dining table, the Arcena typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 2500mm cable can be shortened during installation to suit lower ceilings or raised higher in double-height spaces.

Does the light shine upwards as well as downwards?

Yes. The LED sits on the inner edge of the ring and casts light both downwards onto the table or floor and upwards onto the ceiling, providing a mix of direct task light and indirect ambient wash.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Arcena is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any area exposed to moisture or splashing.
