The Arcana-1 is a white outdoor wall light with an integrated 6W 4000K LED set behind a rectangular tempered glass diffuser in a powder-coated die-cast aluminium frame. The LED sits recessed within the housing and emits light through an angled aperture in the front panel, casting downward illumination onto paths, steps or walls below.

Designed for exterior surface mounting on walls, porches, covered patios and entrance areas, the Arcana-1 carries an IP65 rating for dust-tight and water-jet-resistant protection. The neutral 4000K output provides functional visibility without the warmth of lower colour temperatures, making it suitable for task lighting on driveways, garage approaches and security applications where clear white light is preferred. The 225mm width and 130mm projection give the fitting presence on larger exterior walls without overwhelming smaller porch areas.

The die-cast aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments, while the powder-coated white finish maintains appearance through UV exposure and rain. The tempered glass diffuser softens the LED output to reduce glare at eye level when mounted at standard height (1.5-2m above ground). What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP65 means the Arcana-1 is dust-tight (IP6X) and protected against water jets from any direction (IPX5). It can be mounted in fully exposed positions including coastal areas, under eaves, on open walls, and in locations subject to rain, snow and hose-down cleaning. It is not rated for submersion.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 6W LED is integrated into the housing and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, which equates to approximately 10-15 years of typical evening use (6-8 hours per night). The entire fitting is replaced at end of LED life.

What colour is the 4000K output?

4000K is neutral white — a cool, clear light output that sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight white (5000K+). It provides functional visibility for security and task lighting without the yellow cast of warmer temperatures.

Can it be used on a porch ceiling?

The Arcana-1 is designed for wall mounting and directs light downward through the angled aperture. While it can be ceiling-mounted, the light pattern will still be directional rather than omnidirectional, so a ceiling-specific fitting may provide better coverage for porch applications.
