Description

The Amel is a 280mm table lamp built around a polished chrome arched frame that rises from a flat base, curves upward and suspends a single frosted-clear glass shade at its apex. The shade holds one G9 bulb up to 40W (sold separately) and the frosted glass softens the light output while the clear outer layer allows the bulb itself to be visible when lit.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and low sideboards where decorative and functional light are needed without occupying much horizontal space, the Amel sits within a 200mm diameter footprint and reaches 280mm high. The arched frame gives the lamp a sculptural profile when viewed from the side, while the polished chrome finish reflects ambient light in the room during the day. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a compatible G9 LED bulb and a suitable dimmer switch on the circuit.

The polished chrome shows fingerprints and benefits from occasional wiping with a microfibre cloth to maintain the mirror finish. The frosted-clear glass shade is a two-layer moulded piece where the inner frosted layer diffuses the bulb and the outer clear layer provides structure and refraction. The 0.53kg weight keeps the lamp stable on most surfaces without needing to be secured.
