Description

The Alisio XL is a 735mm diameter ceiling fan light with retractable blades, an integrated tuneable LED and a DC motor designed for silent operation. The four blades fold flat against the 195mm-high body when the fan is off, giving the appearance of a low-profile flush ceiling light, then extend automatically when the fan is switched on. The integrated LED delivers 5900lm output with colour temperature adjustment from 2700K warm white to 5000K cool white.

Designed for living rooms, open-plan kitchens and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Alisio XL handles heating and cooling distribution across floor areas up to 30-35m². The DC motor runs in forward mode during warm weather to generate downward airflow for cooling, and in reverse mode during cold weather to pull warm air down from the ceiling level and redistribute it across the room. The 153W combined power consumption covers both the LED and the motor at full speed.

The fan is controlled via a handheld remote, smartphone app (iOS/Android) or voice command through Alexa and Google Assistant. All three methods allow independent adjustment of fan speed (typically six speeds), LED brightness (0-100% dimming) and colour temperature (2700K-5000K). The matte black finish on the body and blade housings absorbs rather than reflects light, giving a recessed appearance on dark ceilings and a defined circular profile on white ceilings.

The retractable blade mechanism uses centrifugal force to extend the blades as the motor spins up, and spring tension to fold them back when the motor stops. This means the blades are only visible when the fan is running — when stationary, the unit presents as a 735mm disc with a 120° beam-angle LED at the centre. The 5.81kg weight requires a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard fixing capable of supporting at least 10kg dynamic load.
